Mitchell, last chance to name that 80’s tune. If I don’t hear from you soon, I’m just going to post it.

The criteria for this thread involved songs that received decent air time when it first came out, but the window for this probably didn’t last that long. As a consequence, these songs generally aren’t played on retro radio stations, nor do you see them appear very often on compilations.
I think there were two songs that I put out there that weren’t answered, but I can only remember one of them now. Here’s the other one that I remember:
I got another song if you guys are interested in trying to guess it. I think this was is really, really obscure. It’s one of those songs that are so obscure, I’m not 100% sure I heard it back in the 80s. It’s possible that it just sounds like other songs I knew. In any event, for some reason, I’ve been enjoying this song quite a bit lately, and I’m not sure why. If you guys don’t care, I’ll tell you the song. I wanted to know if you guys remember hearing this on the radio. (If you want to guess I have some clues, too.)
Do you guys remember this? I want to say it played on the radio, as the chorus sounds familiar. But I could be confusing it with another song.
By the way, I found the song while checking out David Pack’s music, and I was checking out his music because I like Ambrosia. For some strange reason, I’ve always marginalized Ambrosia, thinking there were basically a one-off pop group, but their music has had surprising lasting power.
One last thing. I think I enjoy this song now because it has the 80’s sound, appealing to nostalgia, while also being a little unfamiliar at the same time, if that makes sense.
